We all know that lifelong learning is essential for a successful profession and staying ahead of the curve in an ever-changing environment. However, in recent years, there has been an explosion of new themes, science areas, and technology developments, which has been fleeting.

After only a few years, a person’s hard abilities may become obsolete. This has an impact on the workplace as well. It used to be feasible to receive an education and work in this industry for the rest of your life. You might receive an education now, but in ten years, 60% of the professions you’ll be doing won’t be the same or won’t exist at all when you start high school or university.

When it comes to hiring and educating individuals, there is an old adage that may be more relevant than ever. Hire for attitude rather than talent. Also, when it comes to skills, we need to pay much more attention to our personal characteristics, lay strong foundations, and seek for abilities that can be used in a variety of situations.

As previously stated, there is a lot to consider when preparing to be future-proof. This is why I divided it into two halves. The foundations and foundations that must exist in the future, followed by job-specific skills and abilities to address complicated challenges, and personal attributes to improve through time in order to adapt as well as possible to changes.
